Fundraising Coach Steve Underwood has a long-standing relationship with the school. “Ravenwood has worked with me for over 10 years. They choose Booster because of successes we have had in the area with other high schools and previous relationships with team members at other schools who are now at Ravenwood.”
As part of the fundraising, each team member was required to provide 20-25 emails for friends, family and members of the community. The Teamworks system contacted the referrals from each athlete on their behalf over a 21 day period in an effort to raise funds. The simplicity of the high school fundraising platform made the full process incredibly easy for the school.
According to Ravenwood football coach Will Hester, “each and every campaign Steve (our Fundraising Coach) runs with us has amazing results and is very easy to manage. He makes the process super easy for the coaches he is working with.”
By leveraging Booster’s online platform, Ravenwood created a donation fundraising program that was engaging and exciting for the students, while taking the burden off the coaching and school team members. The fundraising profits have been used to improve the team’s resources, including turf upgrades, and support opportunities for expansion of the program.
